Patrick is a valuable addition to our everyday success. Patrick served in the US Army for over 10 years as an Airborne Combat Engineer. During his time in service, Patrick attended and conducted various types of training throughout the world and was able to gain the knowledge that is needed to be a survival instructor. Patrick has numerous combat deployments in support of The Global War on Terror, to include Afghanistan and Iraq. Patrick has trained soldiers from all over the world and has worked with 13 different countries training their forces to assist in world wide peace keeping operations. After his time in service, Patrick spent time as an officer for the Department of Homeland Security before he began pursuing roles in business management.
Outside of his traditional combat arms training & experience, Patrick is trained in many of the things we look for here at LTR. He has an extensive background in Mountaineering, Orienteering , Arctic Survival, Avalanche Search & Rescue, Tower Climbing & Rescue, NRA RSO, First Aid. CPR & AED.
When Patrick is not assisting the instructors with lesson plans you can find him sitting at the front desk of our training facility where he manages all of our day to day operations such as running our LTR Supply Center, filling customer orders, helping create new lesson plans, issuing certifications to our students and building the course calendar for future classes. He is our product expert and has taken the time to learn about everything that we sell. As the GM, he does not take the sales role as just another avenue to make money. He interacts with each and every customer and helps them make the best decision when it comes to what they need to stay safe on the job.
Patrick has a passion for the Alaskan outdoors and can be found moose, bear, or waterfowl hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, 4-wheeling, or snowmachining in the backcountry. When he is not in the woods or on the water, Patrick is spending time with his wife and 3 kids coaching soccer, and baseball in the summer, attending his daughters dance recitals, or guiding his son’s to victory in their snowmachine races in the winter.
