Our Building is a 7,000-square-foot consolidated Survival Training and Rescue Center centrally located in Anchorage, Alaska. We maintain one fully-outfitted classroom for 20 attendees, and a training area that can fit up to 30 attendees. Here, students can climb towers, repel, train in confined space, escape an aircraft, get hoisted in a coast guard basket, invert in a crash trainer, and see displays of survival and rescue equipment all under one roof.
LTR Instructors are made up of multiple genres of safety, rescue, and wilderness educators. LTR staff positions include EMT's, Nurse Practitioners, HSE Trainers, professional mountaineers, military survival instructors, weapons armorers, industrial fall protection specialists, and swiftwater rescue technicians.

We provide every major line of fall protection, rope rescue equipment, climbing, bear protection, and medical equipment that you need to conduct work safely in Alaska. Our staff who have been trained and certified by Petzl, the leading company when it comes to climbing and rope access work have personally tested and selected the right gear according to what meets best practices. We sell not only what our trainers use, but what our students and climbers need. We are a technical partner along as the lead dealer of Petzl equipment in Alaska, and also provide equipment from Miller, 3M DBI Sala, ENSA, Elk River, Fall Tech, Rock Exotica, Klein, and Guardian. We offer bear protection equipment such as Counter Assault Bear Spray, and non-lethal shotgun rounds. We offer a wide selection of Medical Products from companies like Slishman who designed the amazing Slishman Pressure Wrap and we are a specialized dealer for SAM Medical products, creators of many innovative products such as the SAM Splint, Tourniquets, Chest Seals, ChitoSAM, Bleeding Control Kits Clients can visit the LTR Training School to see the equipment in use, as well as don harnesses for fitting and suspension checks.
