The LTR training School maintains and is a fully equipped Fall Protection Training Center and Confined Space Trainer. Housed in the facility are also a fully operational 9-person Aircraft Crash Trainer, Underwater Egress Simulators, RIET Simulators and Ruth Training Extrication Mannequins along with Moving Bear Target Systems.
LTR maintains a wooded field training site within 10 minutes of our facility. This allows hands on experience and allows the usage of pyrotechnical signal flares. In addition, we have dedicated lake and river training sites and we conduct annual glacier operations on the nearby Matanuska Glacier.
LTR supplies students with all needed training PPE for all programs. This includes helmets, PFD’s, Students can also select from a full array of training firearms, climbing harnesses, exposure suits and cold weather clothing for their usage.
