With 15 years spent in worldwide automotive safety sales and marketing, Andy Slattery joined LTR as an instructor, which was an ideal realization of his long-held wish to live and work in the state of Alaska. Originally from Wisconsin, he is an experienced outdoorsman, and an especially avid fisherman. He often spends time at the shooting range perfecting technique and studying ballistics.
Andy’s professional background includes sales and business development, sales management, project management, change management, and he finished his corporate career at the executive level in pricing management. He has lived and worked internationally, including assignments in Germany, Ecuador, Brazil, Canada, and Mexico. Coming from the world of tires, brakes, and suspension, he has an appreciation of safety and safety systems.
In addition to his duties as an instructor, Andy is applying his business acumen to build out LTR’s growing equipment sales efforts and support company marketing initiatives. He is working hard to enhance his teaching effectiveness thru continuing education and training.
